CIF
Construction Industry Federation (CIF) actively represents and serves over 3,000 members covering businesses in all areas of the Irish construction industry through a network of 13 Branches in 3 Regions throughout Ireland and through its 37 Sectoral Associations. CIF delivers its services to members either directly or through its Branch Network and Sectoral Associations.
Member firms come from all over sectors of the industry and span all sizes of firms from the very small to the very large. The 37 different Associations are grouped in four key categories: General Contractors, Mechanical & Electrical Contractors, Specialist Contractors and Home Builders

NISO
NISO, The National Irish Safety Organisation, is a voluntary body dedicated to the promotion of Health and Safety in Irish workplaces. NISO aims to promote measures designed to safeguard persons at work against occupational dangers to life, limb and health which in turn promotes safety, health and welfare in the workplace.
Founded in 1963 and organised on a regional basis with its head office based in Dublin, NISO has the support of the Health and Safety Authority, Irish Congress of Trade Unions, Irish Business Employers Confederation and the Irish Insurance Federation- each of whom has a nominee on the NISO National Executive.

Safe-T-Cert
Safe-T-Cert was developed jointly by the Construction Employers Federation in Belfast and the Construction Industry Federation in Dublin and was launched in October 2000. Safe-T-Cert takes account of ‘best practice’ guidelines of relevant national and international bodies including the ILO. Safe-T-Cert is a recognised system under the Build Safe initiative in Northern Ireland the Construction Safety Partnership in the Republic of Ireland.
