Roofing and Cladding Contractors Manager
GFM Systems (formerly Gerard F May Roofing Ltd) is a leading Irish commercial and industrial roofing company. Specialising in flat roofing, decking, metal and aluminium roofing and cladding systems the company has served the Irish market for over 25 years. As part of our continued growth we wish to recruit a Roofing and Cladding Contractors Manager to join our existing team of professionals.
Job title: Roofing and Cladding Contractors Manager
Reporting to: Contracts Manager.
Objectives: Working as part of a contracts management team in the successful progression and completion of roofing and cladding contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessments and understand of the contract documents, including form of contract, drawings, tender documents etc.
- Management and organisation of the project resources.
- Communication and correspondence to all parties including architects, main contractors, clients, on-site personnel, suppliers etc.
- Understanding of and compliance with all Health and Safety regulations.
- Assessment of contract costs from tender to final account stage.
- Reporting on a regular basis on project status to contracts director
Person Specification:
- Diploma Qualification in Construction - With Minimum 3 years post qualification Site Experience.
- Strong Communication and Leadership skills.
- Strong Commercial and Technical Knowledge and ability to read complex drawings.
- Roofing and cladding industry knowledge preferable.
- Supervisory experience.
- Flexibility, willing to undertake work out of normal working hours.
- Ability to write and present reports.
- Extensive experience in the use of Spread Sheets and MS Word.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Auto Cad a benefit.
- Full Clean Drivers License.
