Junior Quantity Surveyor
GFM Systems (formerly Gerard F May Roofing Ltd) is a leading Irish commercial and industrial roofing company. Specialising in flat roofing, decking, metal and aluminium roofing and cladding systems the company has served the Irish market for over 25 years. As part of our continued growth we wish to recruit a Junior Quantity Surveyor.
Job title: Junior Quantity Surveyor
Reporting to: Chief Quantity Surveyor GFM Systems
Objective: This will include direct responsibility for the preparation of monthly valuations, variations, site measurements and assisting the Chief Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management Reporting
To take full responsibility for timely, accurate and appropriate management information.
2. Financial planning
To provide input to the company's financial planning circle including reliable forecast complementing actual result and budgets for the financial period.3. Management Information systems
To take an active and constructive part in the implementation of financial and operational systems.
Person Specification:
The person required would have two years previous experience in construction and a qualification in quantity surveying. A clean driving licence and transport would be required as the job would entail visiting sites.
