We are looking for an experienced office manager who has worked in a similar position in the building sector.

Office Manager – Temporary Maternity Cover

Objective: Supporting the MD, management of general office area, general administrative and secretarial support to management. Ensuring the day-to-day smooth and efficient running of the office

Reporting to: Managing Director

Key Responsibilities

• Upkeep of our ISO System and Safe-T-Cert System.

• Upkeep of all staff members training records.

• Continually setting up of new contract files and site folders to include all relevant safety information.

• Meet and greet visitors to the office in a friendly and efficient manner.

• Administrations, which will include filing, faxing, organization of local, transport including DHL and normal courier deliveries and taxi requests.

• Logging of all tender enquiries and passing them on quickly and accurately to the correct personnel.

• Overseeing and ordering and storage of general office materials.

• Other Ad Hoc duties as required by the MD.

Person Specification:

• Practical experience & knowledge of ISO and Safe T Cert

• Administration and Secretarial qualifications

• High level of PC literacy, MS word, excel and outlook

• Building sector administrative experience of at least three years

• Excellent telephone manner

• Strong work ethic

•Confidence and ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team.

• Cheerful and positive outlook and ability to work well with colleagues and management alike.

• Must be Responsible and Organized
